
Born in Lyon, Philippe MOIROUD is 21 years old when he undertakes musical studies in parallel with a professorship of Physics at the Faculty of Grenoble. He studied singing with Paul GUIGUE at the C.N.R in Grenoble where he received an unanimous first mention and then with Josef METTERNICH at the Musikhochschule in Cologne. He then obtains a D.E.M of singing under the direction of Odile PIETTI; He furthered his studies with Alain FONDARY, Janine REISS and Susan MACCULLOCH. He was invited by Alain DUAULT on his program "Tout la musique qui aime" alongside José Van DAM.
